The third edition of the Business Challenge, organized by EAE Business School Barcelona, has opened the call for applications to take part in the event to develop the creativity and innovative spirit of future undergraduates in collaboration with Mattel, the leading toy company at a global level, with a portfolio of iconic brands including Barbie, Hot Wheels, Fisher-Price, Uno, Monster High, to name just a few. EAE and Mattel will set the high school students a challenge that will take place on 22nd April at the campus of EAE Barcelona (Aragó 55).

EAE Business School, owned by Planeta Formación y Universidades, holds a Business Challenge event in a hackathon format every year, aimed at pre-university students to give them the opportunity to gain a first-hand experience of contributing towards resolving issues for companies renowned for their leadership and innovation, such as Glovo and Nestlé, which partnered with EAE in the previous editions. Candidates can register for the latest edition until Friday 15th April on the business school’s website.

On the day of the final, students from the second year of the High School Baccalaureate and the International High School Baccalaureate or the final year of Advanced Vocational Programs at schools and colleges in Catalonia will work to develop solutions for a practical case set by Mattel and EAE, in relation to Mattel’s Employer Branding. The objective is to identify these young people’s potential and the talent of the leaders of the future using a group dynamic with a completely innovative format and application.

The winner of the Business Challenge will receive a grant equivalent to all the fees for the first year of the Bachelor Degree in Business Administration and Management or the Bachelor Degree in Marketing and Digital Communication at EAE Barcelona. The first and second runners-up will receive a grant equivalent to 50% and 25%, respectively, of the first-year fees of these undergraduate programs.

“One of EAE’s objectives as a business school is to introduce its students to the reality of the business world and what better way could there be to prepare for the day-to-day issues that company tackle than working with Mattel to propose potential solutions to a real challenge faced by a multinational company”, explained Samer Ajour, Vice-Dean of Undergraduate Programs at EAE Business School Barcelona.
