The school’s participation consolidates its positioning within the healthcare innovation ecosystem and strengthens its commitment to connecting talent, industry, research and startups to drive the future of the healthcare sector.

EAE Barcelona strengthens its connection with the healthcare ecosystem

The presence of EAE Business School Barcelona at the congress, the only business school participating in an event that expects the visit of 3,000 professionals, forms part of the agreement with Barcelona Health Hub to connect students with Barcelona’s most pioneering hospitals, its biopharmaceutical industry and the ecosystem of startups focused on health, as well as to promote the MBA Healthcare & Pharma offered by the business school.

In this context, EAE Business School Barcelona leads one of the main stages of the congress, entitled Bridging Research, Innovation and Talent: Shaping the Future of Healthcare, where experts and professors from the school address how to connect research, innovation and talent to continue driving the health sector.

Marta Morcillo, General Manager of EAE Business School Barcelona, states that “participating in Health Revolution Congress allows us to connect education with the challenges currently facing the sector. The transformation of the healthcare sector requires profiles capable of integrating strategic vision, innovation and an understanding of the health ecosystem. From EAE Barcelona, we work so that talent not only responds to that demand, but also contributes to leading it,” highlights Marta Morcillo, General Manager of EAE Business School Barcelona.

Sessions that addressed the challenges of the future of the health sector

The Dean of EAE Business School Barcelona, Dr. Pilar Saura, was responsible for opening the day with a presentation on the main challenges shaping the future of healthcare and a reflection on the role of education, leadership and talent in fostering innovation and the transformation of the healthcare ecosystem.

In addition, the EAE Strategic Research Center presented the report Women’s Health Takes Off: From Taboo to Million-Dollar Business and Medical Revolution, led by Iolanda Marchueta, professor at EAE Business School Barcelona and expert in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry.
