EAE Barcelona, part of the higher education network Planeta Formación y Universidades, and Tech Barcelona have launched “Petit Comitech,” a new breakfast-format initiative aimed at connecting technology leaders, companies, executives, and stakeholders in a small, close-knit, and high-quality environment designed to foster direct dialogue and the exchange of strategic knowledge.

The new series, aimed at partners and members of EAE Business School and Tech Barcelona, embraces an exclusive, high-quality format, moving away from large-scale events to focus on meaningful conversation, experience, and ideas with a real impact on business.

The inaugural session was held at Restaurante San Telmo and featured Ander Orcasitas, Vice President at Mastercard Dynamic Yield, as guest speaker.

Under the title “The Future of Agentic Commerce,” Orcasitas explained how AI agents are beginning to actively influence the purchasing process—recommending products, anticipating needs, and even acting on behalf of users at certain stages of decision-making. According to him, this paradigm shift will have a direct impact on the relationship between brands, platforms, and consumers.

“With initiatives like ‘Petit ComiTech,’ we aim to create spaces for genuine conversation, where companies and stakeholders can share concrete experiences on how technology is transforming business models,” said Carlota Suriol, Marketing and Communications Director at EAE Barcelona. “This approach aligns with EAE Barcelona’s value proposition: education connected to business reality and direct access to technology leaders. The small-scale format allows for honest, unfiltered dialogue that delivers a distinct advantage over large events,” she added.

Miquel Martí, CEO of Tech Barcelona, highlighted that “our collaboration with EAE Barcelona allows us to bring strategic content closer to our members in an accessible environment, connecting them directly with talent, executives, and future key professionals in the technology sector, while fostering high-value connections for both the present and future of organizations.”

“Petit ComiTech” will continue over the coming months with new sessions focused on emerging trends that are reshaping the business landscape and accelerating the transition toward a new digital paradigm.
