Over 1,000 students from 55 countries embark on their academic year at EAE Business School

The School has welcomed the new students joining its Full-Time, Part-Time and Hybrid Master programs

The Madrid and Barcelona campuses of EAE Business School, owned by Planeta Formación y Universidades, have opened their doors to more than 1,000 students starting their Full-Time, Part-Time and Hybrid Master studies in April. 85% of the students beginning their journey at the School are international, from a total of 55 different countries, with students from Peru, Colombia and Mexico being the biggest groups from Latin America, while Germany and Italy are the most represented European companies. Throughout the month of April, the Madrid and Barcelona campuses organized a range of events to welcome the students, many of whom have only recently arrived in Spain.

“You are embarking on an experience that will mark a turning point in your lives. For our part, we will continue to embrace our four key commitments: employability, entrepreneurship, sustainability and innovation. These are our commitments as a learning community comprising the faculty,  the management team, companies, students and thousands of alumni all over the world”, emphasized the Dean of EAE Business School Barcelona, Enric Ordeix, to the students at the welcome event for EAE Barcelona, held at the Palau de la Música Catalana.

“Embrace the classes as part of your learning process. Be good disciples to your teachers. Make the most of their knowledge to develop your full potential, as they are in charge of giving you the tools to get the very best out of yourselves”, explained the Dean of EAE Business School Madrid, Antonio Rodríguez Ruibal, at the welcome event for the students at the Madrid campus, held at the Gran Teatro Caixa Bank Príncipe Pío.

The School organizes Welcome Week with the aim of giving the new students an overview of all the different services offered by EAE Business School and chance to get to know their lecturers and classmates, as well as giving them a better insight into the culture of both Barcelona and Madrid. Over the course of Welcome Week, the students had the opportunity to take part in workshops and cultural tours of Madrid and Barcelona organized by the School, as well as networking events, presentations of the Masters and an overview of how EAE Business School functions.

NEW DEVELOPMENTS THIS YEAR

At the campus of EAE Business School Barcelona, in collaboration with Mobile World Capital and Barcelona Digital Talent, the School has created the Accelerator Digital Program with the aim of fostering new international digital talent and catering for the new needs of the labour market. The program will give the Master students from the April 2023 intake the chance to learn key digital competencies through the Learning by Doing philosophy, including digital marketing, big data, web development, UX/UI and blockchain. This new program connects EAE students with cutting-edge companies recruiting digital talent.

Moreover, like every year, EAE Business School caters for the demand of the labour market by creating new Masters designed to ensure the comprehensive training and preparation of the students for the business world. EAE Business School Madrid has launched the new Master in Fashion and Beauty Marketing Management, which gives students an in-depth insight into the key aspects of the business and the international challenges it faces, gaining a global overview of all the sectors that make us the world of fashion: cosmetics, leisure and services. In addition, they will learn to design and implement a marketing plan based on an omnichannel approach and the use of digital tools.
