ENTREPRENEURS: ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE FOR IMPROVING HEALTH

In the Entrepreneurs section, we highlight the story of Luis Valiente, who, after graduating from EAE’s Global Executive MBA, applied the knowledge he had acquired to detect and capitalize on a market opportunity by creating a way to accelerate the development of medications and enhance the effectiveness of clinical trials through Artificial Intelligence. This is the mission of iLoF, the start-up that he founded based on the premise that every person needs personalized treatment.

"As the CEO and Co-Founder of iLoF, a high tech, high growth business, it is very important to make sure that my team and I grow at the same pace as the business. This is a really common problem for start-ups: the companies grow exponentially, but the executives often grow linearly”, acknowledged the EAE graduate.

Another success story of the entrepreneurs who started out at EAE is Silvia Escámez, the Founder of Finteca and Prohipotecas, who combined her entrepreneurial vocation and her experience in the banking sector to create and launch two financial consultancy and management platforms. The first offers information and financing for people looking to take out a mortgage, while the second is a tool for real estate agents.

Their communication actions are converted into points which, in turn, earn them benefits and rewards for forming part of this new community.

Moreover, the Elevator Tips section shares useful advice for our alumni’s professional lives from four EAE lecturers: Anna Ripoll, the Director of the Master in Customer Experience; Estanis Iglesias, a lecturer on the Master in Big Data & Analytics; Alejandro Casero, a lecturer on the Master in Digital Marketing & E-Commerce; and Esther González, the Director of HR Master programs at EAE Business School.
