On this program, you learn to understand the data lifecycle and apply it to real challenges in sales, marketing, operations, finance and strategy.
Depending on your path, you can gain more in-depth insight into tools such as Python, SQL, Power BI, advanced analytics and Big Data architectures, or develop your ability to interpret insights, lead teams and make data-driven decisions without needing to program. It is not just a question of techniques: it is a matter of learning to spot opportunities where others only see numbers and transforming information into decisions that drive business forward.
With this in mind, there are two pathways offered on this Master’s degree: Technical Specialization (Full-Time), for professionals who want to build solutions from the inside; and Leadership & Data-Driven Decisions (Part-Time), for executives who already make decisions and want to increase their impact with data. Moreover, you do all this in Barcelona, an ecosystem where technology, business and creativity go hand in hand every day. FAQs
- Technical Specialization (Full-Time): an intensive format designed for junior-mid profiles who want to enter or transition into the data field, with a stronger technical focus (Python, R, SQL, Databricks, Data Science).
- Leadership & Data-Driven Decisions (Part-Time): designed for mid–senior professionals who are already working, with a stronger focus on strategy, decision-making and leadership in data-driven environments, compatible with your job.
It is not mandatory. On the Full-Time track, you will begin with the fundamental principles of Python and SQL and progress to more advanced levels. On the Part-Time track, the focus is on understanding and using data for decision-making, not on becoming an expert programmer.
The Leadership & Data-Driven Decisions (Part-Time) track is specifically designed for working professionals. The workload and format are adapted for those already in the labour market.
The Master’s degree is mainly taught in Spanish and English, depending on the program in which you enrol.
You will receive the Master of Lifelong Learning in Big Data & Analytics (EAE-specific degree) awarded by EAE Business School Barcelona, with 60 ECTS credits.
You will learn from professionals working in the field in areas such as Data Analytics, BI, AI, technology consulting, FMCG, telecom, insurance and technology, with senior positions and real experience in data projects.
