Talent EAE grows by 20% and, in its tenth edition, consolidates its position as the leading meeting point between companies and young talent in Barcelona
The event brought together more than 1,200 students and alumni and over 120 national and international companies, creating a space for direct connection between young talent and the city’s business community.
At the same time, the event showcased the entrepreneurial ecosystem of EAE Business School Barcelona, highlighting early-stage startups supported by its hub and promoting entrepreneurship as a professional alternative to large corporations.

EAE Business School Barcelona, part of the higher education network Planeta Formación y Universidades, held Talent EAE 2026, the tenth edition of its annual employability event, at the Hotel Catalonia Plaza in Barcelona. The event brought together more than 1,200 students and alumni and over 120 national and international companies—20% more than in last year’s edition—consolidating its position as a space for direct connection between young talent and the business community. The event also helps strengthen Barcelona’s positioning as a hub for talent attraction and professional opportunities.
“Celebrating Talent EAE for the tenth consecutive year reflects the importance of having these kinds of meeting spaces between students and companies, aligned with current labor market needs and a vision of sustainable employability,” explains Marta Morcillo, Business Director at EAE Business School Barcelona.
Throughout the event, various employability-focused activities took place, including networking sessions, one-to-one interviews, and personalized meetings with companies from sectors such as retail, banking, finance, insurance, food, and consulting. Companies such as Red Bull, Mapfre, Danone, MediaMarkt, Grupo Planeta, Freixenet, CaixaBank, and Boehringer Ingelheim actively participated in the event, particularly valuing the students’ preparation and career orientation.
Artificial Intelligence and technological innovation played a cross-cutting role throughout the day, both in recruitment processes and in defining future professional profiles, as well as in keynote sessions. A highlight of the event was the round table Talent Talks: Future of Work 2026: The New Intelligence of Talent, which brought together experts from Deloitte, Google, Telefónica, and NEX.ia of Planeta Formación y Universidades to analyze how AI is impacting the labor market, the evolution of professional profiles, and the need to promote upskilling and reskilling.
“Companies are increasingly seeking professionals with digital skills, adaptability, and a long-term vision for their professional development. These types of events allow students to better understand what is expected of them,” Morcillo adds.
Talent EAE also served as a showcase for the entrepreneurial ecosystem of EAE Business School Barcelona. Through the school’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, attendees were introduced to early-stage startups supported by EAE, such as Wasi 3D, Butcamp, ESEIS, Awaken, Keonus, Kumulus Water, Oteero, and Sharetogo, promoting entrepreneurship as an alternative career path to joining large organizations.
With this tenth edition, EAE Business School Barcelona reinforces its commitment to employability and to creating spaces that facilitate effective connections between students, alumni, and companies, in line with current labor market demands.
