More than 500 selection processes open during Talent EAE Barcelona

- Talent EAE Barcelona took place on 17th April at the Fundació Museu Antoni Tàpies

- Over 50 multinationals, of the 100 participating companies, took part in this great employability event

Over 500 selection processes were opened with students of EAE Business School Barcelona, which belongs to Planeta Formación y Universidades, on 17th April, at the Fundació Museu Antoni Tàpies, during Talent EAE, EAE Barcelona’s leading employability and networking event and one of the biggest in Spain. The profiles in the highest demand were in the areas of Marketing and Communication (44%), followed by Finance and Human Resources (23%), Project Management and Operations (20%), IT (8%) and Business Management (5%).

More than 900 students from EAE Business School Barcelona had the chance to check out the job vacancies in the participating companies, chat with the Human Resources directors and find out all about the latest trends in talent, sustainability and innovation in talks given by the Co-Director of Primavera Sound, Alfonso Lanza; the Chief People Officer of PdPaola, Cristina García;  the Director of Marketing and Media Manager of the 37th Louis Vuitton America’s Cup, Carlota Artigas and Daniel Ferrando, respectively; the Director of Human Resources, Diana Arias, and Talent Manager for Spain, Blanca García, at GB Foods (Gallina Blanca);  Project Manager at MWC, Marc Soldevila; and Talent Specialist at Raventós Codorniu, Paula Curto.

Around 100 companies took part in this edition, including 50 multinationals, such as SAP, Sony, GB Foods (Gallina Blanca), Perfetti Van Melle (Chupa Chups), Danone, Grupo Mondelez, COTY, Revlon, BIC, PwC, TOUS, Swarovski, Adidas, Vueling, Nissan, Banc Sabadell, Bayer, AstraZeneca, Grupo Planeta, VF Apparel (Vans, Timberland, North Face, kipling, Eastpak, Napapijri) and RENFE, to name just a few.

Once again this year, the event was a great success, inspiring and aspirational bringing together talent, companies and art. The event really encapsulates the long and hard work of the team at the Professional Impact Unit (PIU) as a strategic partner that generates added value for both students and the companies”, emphasized Anna Boixader, the Director of Talent for Impact - Professional Impact Unit.

THE ANNUAL APPOINTMENT WITH EMPLOYABILITY: TALENT WEEK 2024

EAE Business School Barcelona held its annual appointment with employability within the framework of Talent Week 2024. Over the course of the week, from 15th to 19th April, the event included a range of initiatives related to employability and innovation, such as round tables, conferences, a live recording of the Business Matters podcast and meetings with professionals in the sector.

The Professional Impact Unit (PIU) also ran workshops to boost employability, improve personal branding and attract potential customers to the business through LinkedIn, as well as presenting the students’ success stories.
