Olga Sánchez, Chief Executive Officer of AXA España, Patron of the Graduation of EAE Business School Barcelona

The Chief Executive Officer of AXA España, Olga Sánchez, will be the Patron of the Graduation Ceremony of the students of EAE Business School Barcelona who are finishing their studies in 2023. In total, over 2,350 students are going to graduate from the different Master and Bachelor Degree programs run by the School. 81% of EAE Barcelona’s graduates are international, from more than 80 different countries across all five continents. The event will be held on 7th July in Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona.

“It is an honour for me to be the Patron of the graduation of an innovative business school that sets the standard internationally like EAE Business School Barcelona, which offers a great range of practical, student-centred programs. The students who are now graduating have been through a journey of professional and personal growth that has prepared then to develop their talents and capacity in order to change things in an increasingly complex world. I am sure that these young people will lead the sustainable transformation of organizations and society”, explained Olga Sánchez.

OLGA SÁNCHEZ, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER OF AXA ESPAÑA

Olga Sánchez has been the Chief Executive Officer of AXA España since April 2019, after a long career in the insurance firm. She is also President of the AXA Foundation and the ‘AXA de Todo Corazón’ corporate volunteering association.

The executive has over 25 years¡ experience in the insurance sector, where she has held senior positions including Chief Financial Officer and Director of Health and Life Insurance. At a global level, she is a member of the AXA Partners, the group of leaders of the multinational insurance firm. Sánchez is a founding member of the Advisory Board of Women in Insurance (EWI) and a member of AXA España’s Diversity and Inclusion Board.

Olga Sánchez has a Bachelor Degree in Economics and Business from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. She qualified as a chartered actuary at the Instituto de Actuarios Españoles, and also took the IESE-Wharton-CEIBS Global CEO Program.
